Bird Lake Meadows

An amazing, too-short camping trip: we set up our tent by the lake at 6000 ft. and hiked up above the tree line to 7600 ft. Though we saw signs of goats and kept a sharp eye out, we didn’t spy any. We did ask a ranger we met where we could see them- if you’re at sunrise camp at dawn they are milling around.
