Our evening walks take us further and further afield. Tonight we ended up in the hilly neighborhood south of here where we came upon a heady scent. The white lilies on the boulevard glowed in the dark. I love our walks, this shadowy land, this night and the quiet sense that creeps up to remind that this summer won’t last forever. (Get up now and praise the night, there are somewhere lilies in your dark.)
